Due Date Club July 2005:To Priya - 2nd baby ?

Hi Priya,
To jump in on your conversation with Chaitra, my two cents.

If you can please wait until Dylan is atleast 2 to plan for the second one. I am going crazy with a 2 and 5 months old and a 7 month old. Really crazy. Yes they are fun and nice but then the age diff is a bit too close for comfort. And too my son (oldest) is a very mature boy for his age. So can't imagine how my life would have been if he was like a normal kid. The age between 2-3 kids are really in a transition state, they can't quite well understand that if they are supposed to not do a thing, they shouldn't do it. So once they start undestanding (that he does now) and remembering ( will take some more time) that he shouldn't do certain things it is easier to have a second kid.
Now my only job is to try to keep him from harming the bebay. He doesn't do it intentionally, he loves the baby but sometimes too much. Will go and kiss her, hug her (too tight) saying I luv u baby, u r my friend etc. He is too eager to play with her will give her his toys (with sharp edges etc), try to feed her what he eats coz he wants to share etc....He wants to play elphant with her so he tries to sit on her etc... the list goes on......But it is fun to see them play together. And my daughter just adores him, wants to do whatever he does.

Good luck anyway.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
