Is it ok to allow your husband to have late noght party with office friends in USA?..since it is a office party i can't go.but i get suspicious too, that he might hav an extra martial affair.I talked to him about my feeling , he tells i have to trust him.but how can i trust him, if he comes home after 2 or 3 o clock?.he just gives explanation after food, they go to club and dance.wht shd i do?. Mina replied. There is a difference between office party and people from office going to party. In the 1st case..it very well could be that spouses r not allowed...but those kind of parties r sponsored by office and r mainly on big occasions..christmas, thanksgiving etc..meaning they r not v frequent. Once in a while kind..and it's not big deal..infact it is good to interact with collegues on a social bases.

The other kind is when people from work get together and go out..to relax and unwind. And frankly...in these kinds there is no such rule that spouses r not invited. However many a time people don't like to bring spouses casue for Americans it's their ME time...time away from spouse!!!
I know couple of people from my hubby's office do that on a regular bases and although i don't mind him going once in while..i would not like it if he made it a habit and came home at 2-3 o clock.
The thing is once is a while is fine..and i wouldn't get worried or paranoid...but if this is really bothering u then talk to him.
He doesn't really need to go to these...they aren't really mandatory...just a personal choice. American women don't care..it's a 2 way stream for them..they have girls nite and their hubby's have boys nite out...but we do..as we don't really do that kind of stuff without our husbands. ..well not often. I go out with my american girlfriends once in a while while my hubby takes care of our son.

Would u'r hubby be ok if u went out with u'r girlfriends and came home at 2-3! And frankly what is he doing dancing with other people when he has u.

It's not that he is having an affair...but just that my hubby going out with his buddies rather than me would kind of upset me...it's not as if he is dancing with other men..he is either shaking it with some random women.

R his office buddies single. In that case he needs to realise that he is not.
Make him realise it not that u don't trust him..but u just don't like it and he needs to respect u'r viewpoint.
