Hi Sheeja,
Arjun got one tooth and second one is also popping out and he has started drinking milk from sippy cup since I started him on solids.
He eats solids two times (lunch & dinner)in a day so far but am planning to introduce third feed (breakfast) in next couple of days. I was wondering if anyone started giving yo baby yogurt to their babies as I have been thinking about introducing it since quite some time now.
Hey Sheeja, do you have any idea about introducing finger food? As Arjun got his tooth now, should I give him teething biscuits?
How is Trisha doing? looks like she started crawling. Arjun is also trying hard, moves forwrd and backwards a bit and then rolls over and laugh. He has developed great interest for outdoors so want to look out or go out almost all the time.
I am much better healthwise than last week. No tooth pain just a bit sore there. Hopefully will get over it soon. I am still busy at work but managing to be home by 5:30 since last couple of days to be with Arjun. Chalo, have fun with your little one:) sheeja replied. hi Arti

For Trisha also second teeth is abt to come..may take a week or so..i guess. why i asked was, my friend told me that teeths will come only in pairs....
Actually i started third solid..i mean breakfast when she was 6.5 months old. when she completed 7th month i started daily dal rice. What i noticed was drinking milk alone is not enough for her...she gets hungry in 1hr itself. sometimes i give 4 times solids like aroung 5pm also. But as Trisha has started taking formula from sippy cup im giving formula in the evening. It depends..sometimes if she didnt eat properly in the noon then i will give 1 solid in the evening.

When she is really hungry shez taking formula from the cup. otherwise it takes nearly 30-40 mins to complete 2oz milk. But she likes to take from ordinary cup or from spoon. shez taking more fastly in ordinary cup.

Regarding this yobaby...my friend is giving when her son was 8months old. i too dont no whether to start or ask ped. i have bought mixed fruit yogrut. i too was wondering whether to start or not.otherwise letme ask her ped in her 9th month check in march end week.

hey..im giving her fruit puffs finger food. wow...shez playing with that..like rolling from this end of the mouth to that end...mostly it will come out sticky...she likes it very much as the texture is differnt.
In the beginning u just hold it inside his mouth.otherwise dip in water then give.But onething, watch him very carefully and have water near u.
what happened to Trisha was, it gets melted and sticks in her upperjaw sometimes.so she didnt no how to take that with her tongue. she did like vomitting and vomitted everything that she had in the noon.
