The first solar eclipse of 2007 is visible from eastern Asia and parts of northern Alaska Greatest eclipse takes place at 02:31:56 UT when the eclipse magnitude will reach 0.8754. The penumbral contact times with Earth are listed below.

The path of the moon' s shadow will produce a partial Eclipse beginning in south Asia then crossing most of Asia through India including Bangalore, Calcutta, Delhi, Mumbai and also covering most of Russia including Chita, Magadan, Tynda, Vladivostok and reaching parts of Alaska.
