Good Krish has recovered. Bad to see babies suffer. I'll tell u Lekha's routine. Morning 6.30, I feed her BM and leave to office. Between 8.30-9.00 she takes cow's milk(diluted). She refused to drink formula. So after consulting doc I started giving her cow's milk (toned). Then around 11.30 she takes suji payasam (fried samolina +milk+sugar). She loves it. Then she takes bath & sleeps. After 1.30 we give her ragi cereal cooked in milk and little jaggery. This is followed by Dhal ka pani+ vegetables (carrots most of the time or greens). This is the time she has good amount. At 4.00 she takes another round of milk. At 5.30, stewed apples/ marie biscuit. Then she'll wait for me very desparately to come home. I'll be back by 6.30. From then onwards it is only BM.
From last week onwards she has started eating rice mixed with ghee & pinch of salt. Also give her banana during after noon. I have brought cerelac wheat apple, I'll give it to her some times. Doc told me to use less sugar & salt. So it is used to the minimum.
Hope this info helps. Do post about yours.

Hi Veena,
Thanks for sharing all this thingy.
hey...tell me one thing...how we can add formula in payasam. i don't give cow milk..but can we boil formula or can we add formua in pyasam later like we add in cereal?

now i tell u krish feeding schedule....
he waks up around 8 am..that time i give formula.then at 10-10:30 i give cereal mix with formula and fruits....like apple/pear/peach. At 1 bresfeed. the 3:30-4 give veggie like sweetpotato/squash/carrots/beans/peas.

then at 6 i give formula 4 ounces. then 8:30 feed khichadi(rice+moong dal).
then 10:30 breastfeed and he goes to bed then he wakes up once in night then i breastfeed him.
Actually time is not regular..some times he wants in 2 hrs and sometimes 3 hurs...teel me am i feeding him right way?

how is Lekha doing?
hey r u in usa or India?
love to Lekha
sweety

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
