D/Sush, Abhi jaldi mumbai aa jao yaar.. You can get tons of house help, you can meet up with your folks whenever you like and all that!! And i come to Mumbai on one-day tours often, so we can meet up too...

I'm starting solids in a big way on Saturday. Like Raj said, my doc is also concerned about the cereal and not too much about the veggies..

Raj, Vani - i dont trust the nanny to properly peel/cook the carrots and beet and mash it well to feed Kich. Hence Gerber. I know it is not as good as (and defentiely more costlier than) natural stuff, but i'm finicky about her hygiene.

So this saturday i'm going to boil, mash and freeze carrots, sweet potato, potato and beetroot. I'll ask Sanj to micro them (I'll pack in parts) and let this lady feed him when he's still at home (till 11 AM).

I am giving him 3/4th a banana at noon after his BF.

Lemme see his progress on the chart and then i'll decide on adding oats/ Wheat or Barley cereal.

I'm amazed that Tia can sit and can play with Rings and Blocks!! Kich topled head first if i make him sit. And he cant hold his head up for too long on his tummy either!!

Komal, did you check Megha for an ear block? Kich was behaving like this for some days and the doc found out that his ear is \";pressure closed\"; (like on take-off and landing). This is releived during suckling and is caused due to a minor collection of fluid in the nose-ear tract. I was given \";Augmentin Duo\"; drops...

When she's crying with her eyes tightly closed, try a gentle rattle. the sound will distract her from whatever's bothering her and you can take control in this lull.. We do this for Kich when he wakes up like he's seen a nightmare!! We use a low-vol rattle and the moments he stops crying, we pick him up and take him out of the room..
