Sorry have been chin deep w/work but frankly did not miss even 1 single day of the chat board !used to visit everyday but just didn't have time to chat..khair..

Pads..Raj is right..Tia feeds on the 2.5 oz wala jars..she polishes off the veggies which I was asked to start first & makes a major face at the fruits which tho' she finishes off..I give her 1 jar at 12 & at 8am & 4pm she has 3 tbs of rice/oatmeal/barley w/milk...

Tia too completed 6 months just 10mins ago !!...can't imagine I have been a mom for 1/2 a year !!!!..Tia still can't roll over from her tummy to back tho' she does the back to tummy w/difficulty..she sits well & can support herself too if she falls...she makes raspberries,puts out her tongue & loads of 'tongue' gymnastics(I actually keep doing & she freely imitates me !)..
Tia freaks on swings(5-5:30 is public park time !),ToysRUs(She became so delirious w/happiness & screamed when we pulled the toys from her hands..I'll NEVER BE ABLE TO TAKE HER THERE),loves Aunty & readily gives her a hug,loves Daddy's voice over the phone..& doesnt appear to miss mommy !
She has new toys..
musical drum,farm interactive toy(both from Fisher Prics),regular linkados,& plastic ring stacker..
I have removed her mobile from her crib 2-3 months ago..she used to be too distracted to fall asleep by herself..
Thankfully she is off to sleep maximum by 7pm(usually by 6:30)leaving Mommy to do all the office work & ghar ka kaam..
I'm actually trying for a positin in PA(Pennsylavania..Philly actually) so all that job hunting/H1 transfer/my SLP(Speech Therapist)license transfer from NY to Pa etc etc takes up more of my ltd time...Khair..

& believe it or not..I have got back into ALL my pre preggy pants ,tops, bras incl. !!!!just can't believe my super luck..guess tension does affect !..Infact the other day a very sweet guy told me I looked 20...chalo thora zyada he pheka par phir bhi..you can imagine what a boost to my sagging self esteem !!!vo bhi 10 yrs younger bola !!!!

my tummy too is kinda of going away. !!!Aunty too was impressed !!!
the 2 jeans I bought just before starting work have already been retired !!!

btw..have any of you been seeing the trailers of March of the Penguins..???Its sooooooooooooo breathtaking & it kind of come at the right time when I am actualy appreciating motherhood/parenting & the whole gizmo of bringing life on earth & all that..

ekaur khush khabri..we finally paid off the loans on our m'mbai house(the reason we came to earn in dollars actually !)..so feeling tremendously satisfied..abhi to I can' t wait to run back to aamchi mumbai..but Tapash says lets bag in couple of more in our kitty so lets see..

u know what Vani,that flowery wala bedsheet even I have but its in M'bai..& when I saw that I felt so nostalgic for my \";ghar\";..seriously here I feel I am living in some kind of refuge shelter & meine itne pyaar se vo ghar sajaya tha..u w/those rajasthani miniature paintings & furniture,& my plants etc etc..
btw Raj..you know when I read ur em's I always feel that you (& others too) at such a young age you all have done sooooooo much..I remember at your age I was frankly soooo selfish..just me ,my career,my lifestyle,me,I mine...& it took me so late to mature to the idea of marriage & then phir se so late to mature to the idea of babies..so hats off to you all young moms & young wife's..I really appreciate your selflessness..

You have shared lots in this one mail and it was very interesting to read. Congrats on successful motherhood for 1/2 year and Tia is a darling to sleep by herself and give you time.

All the best for your H1 and job hunt. Is Tapash at Pa? Are you doing this to join him there?

Me gotto get new toys for Rishi too. But whatever I give him, he only wants to stuff them into his mouth. Donno when he will start getting distracted by them and play with them.

Hey great that you have lost all weight. Missing Tapash so much I guess;) Post some of your recent snaps and let us tell you if you look ten years younger ;)

And about your compliments to Raj and all about having done so much at this age... I feel the other way... I feel I didn't have a choice and am still a QA Engineer with no promotions at office... and am already 26... people at my office much younger than me are Team leads...
I know many of friends married just after college and became mothers in 22 and odd...

Mixed feelings...
