Hope u and the little ones are fine.

I got the 3D anamoly scan done at 20 weeks. As per the USG gestational age is 20 weeks 2 days.

Fetal cardiac activity and movements are present. Fetal heart rate is 164 b.p.m

All fetal parameters like head circumference, femoral length, B.P.D, O.F.D etc are normal.

Approx. fetal weight is 318g(+/-29 gms)

The 3-D anamoly scan for head, spine, neck(nuchal thickness measures less than 4mm), face, thorax, abdomen,limbs appeared normal.

The sonologist says that at this stage there is no evidence of any fetal abnormalities.

But there is one cloncluding remark that \";thick maternal abdominal wall limits optimal evaluation of cardiac structures, so follow up scan at 26 weeks is suggested\";

Archie, I need your comments on the above.

Will 26 week scan give a better picture?
