Hi gals
I was missing in action for the last week and had to read many messages to catch up.
Diya had a great time in Paris. Our flight trips weren't too great because of the almost 24 hr trips. We used Baby bjorn more than the stroller. But it has left its prints on my back. I gave her benadryl on somebody's advice. Boy! it wired her so much and she was cranky on our way to Paris.
She managed the jetlag very well and my parents spoilt her rotten. She was not on the stroller even for an hour(what a waste to carry that all the way through the tight security:) Grandpa had to hold her all the time. Even when I was holding her, she will open her arms like flying towards my Dad so that he will pick her up. My mom was so scared to even change her diaper. She dabbed the wipe on her butt as though it will crack if she wiped it hard:) Since she was held all the time and we were always in the train or on the move, Diya loved it. She was smiling at all the people trying to get their attention as though she didn't have enough.
Paris doesn't have the concept of A/C or fan. So we had to sweat our ways to the restaurants and museums all the way when it was 80+ degrees. That wasn't fun. But it was great in the early mornings and late nights around 11. We didn't sleep much because of that. Lot of good pastries and dessert crepes has increased the inches on my already big tummy.
Diya has caught a cold now and she is coughing so bad and sneezing. She is not letting me suction her nose. She has difficulty in feeding too because of that. I am going to get her a cool mist humidifier.
