Read the confusion of week going on..now i am confused..i have reg in babycenter,indiaparenting and babyzone and i get weekly emails at different dates..i calculated the weeks myself in XL sheet ..we 3 are all a day apart..from my calc. it is my 34th week going on if EDD is 23rd oct. and goes on as (the dates being starting date..)

My calc..started on 16th Jan then added 7 days which is 23rd jan and that is end of 1st week and so on to come up with...

9/19/03 36

10/24/03 40 ends..41 starts

babycenter and babyzone say i am in 33rd week..which does end up on 23rd oct as the first day of 40th week..this is so funny..after nearing the end i am getting confused on week..

so that means many in oct group are in the 37th week...wow! i am sure there will be more delivery news here..our XL sheet in yahoo also has many mothers missing...wonder in oct. who is the first one to be a mom..
We all in the tail end of the month so long wait for us and will hear many experiences before we come to our due date.
Anyway, i agree we are either 33/34/35 weeks..:) and not crossed 36 weeks..

Anyway from your's&Anu's info every tue Anu completes a week,every Wed i do&every Thursday you do.So right now this week all of us are completing 34wks&when asked how many wks we also refer to the completed wks so at the end of this week we r 34 wks pregnant!!

You are right, for you 34th week is going on and you will complete 34 weeks on 09/11 and start 35th week on 09/12. So as of today you are 33 weeks pregnant because u completed 33 weeks. But you will be called 34 weeks pregnant on 09/11.

For me, I will complete 34 weeks today and 35th week will start from tomorrow. This means I will be 34 weeks pregnant today.

Here is how I calculate. My last menstrual period was on Jan 14th which is on Tuesday. Add 7, becomes Jan 21st. For that we need to add nine months. i.e Oct 21st. So I will be completing my 40 weeks on Oct 21st which is Tuesday. Due date will be one day after we complete 40 weeks. That's why my due date is Oct 22nd. So, end of every Tuesday I will complete a week and start new week on Wednesday. So, I am 34 weeks pregnant today. I am sure this works for me because it matches with my doctor's chart.
For you, Every Thursday you will be completing one week and every Friday you will start new week.

Confusion is due to \";weeks completed\"; and \";week running\";. This is the difference.

I think Baby center and India parenting will give you the completed weeks when you start a new week. That's why more confusion

Finally I conclude that we 3 are in 34th week AS OF TODAY :) Tomorrow changes my week to 35th. Friday will change your week.
