Are u seeing a gynea or an infertility expert?Bcoz for ur treatment u need a infertility expert .Find a good IVF centre in ur city & go ahead with ur treatment .
U have to keep few things in mind
1. the problem u are facing is called oligospermia -low count with this little count it is not possible to conceive natrually but good chances by IVF/IVF-ICSI.
2.These medicines as i told u earlier can do little help .But before IVF also ur infertility expert will give medicines to ur husband to get good sperms in the semen that is taken for freezing.Do not worry the Dr. will take care of all these minute details .
If count less then 30 million then IVF is done above 30 IUI is done & less then 5 million IVF -ICSIis done .It all depends upon the shape motality of the sperms .The Dr. will decide whether IVF or IVF -ICSI.
3.Find a good IVF specialist -one who is experienced has a good sucess rate & is thorough with investigations .
4.Last but not the least be relaxed and cool down ur problem has a solution in medical science .But both of u need to be patient during the treatment .If u go to an infertility centre u will c so many people with varied problems coming to the Dr.& by proper treatment conceiving .But as i said earlier evrything takes time so u both need to be relaxed & patient.

If the count is low then u can go for IVF treatment .As written by another reader that there are medicines to increase it -i do not want to disappoint u but the harsh fact is that the medicines will be of little help only .Do not waste time see an infertility specialist .
I am saying all this bcoz i am a doctor i know the facts Swati replied. Dear Meera,
There should not be much problem as lot of medicines are available to correct this problem. Dont worry. All the best.

talk to a Dr.

Dear GIGI,
As u stated her periods are now ok .Is the egg of proper size?Did the doctor do follicular study ?Fallopiuan tubes oK or blockage?.There are several reasons for not conceiving.I have been telling all that go to an infertility expert bcoz he /she is specialised to do ur treatment .The problem is young couples facing infertility have no proper knowledge or what to do since this is a sensitive issue u can also not talk to anybody & everybody .Like this lot of time energy is wasted .Pls see an infertility expert in ur city

Even we haev the problem

Hello Dr.

Even my wife has similar issues..
We are married for a year and still we are unable to give raise to a kid.
We were adviced to go for a medical checkup and found that i am noram with my sperm count and she is irregular with her periods.
After medication, my wife periods are made regular....but still she is unable to conceive..
What could be the issue ???
Can u guide us..

Thanks Dr.Chitrakshi i´ ll visit my docotr and tell her abt this.my husband is taking RESTORE and Folic acid tablets every morning and night will this help him increase his count?
