Hello All,
I'm in my 18th week currently. Its good to join in - hoping to exchange a lot of ideas with you guys.

I have a question - I gained 2 pounds during my 3rd month - my previous checkup. And last week when I had my recent checkup, I found I've gained 5 pounds in a month in spite of following the same diet! I'm worried about this weight gain - I know I should have gained just 2 pounds. And the Doctor also dint say anything - just that its not very normal to gain 5 pounds in a month. Has anyone experienced this problem? I know I cant control my diet now! So am in kind of a dilemma

I am in 19th week, when I went for checkup in 17th week I gained 6 pounds. And previously I gained only 1.75 pounds. It is not possible to gain evenly. Just do excise and eat well.

Hi Anu,

Welcome.

I donot know much about this weight gain, as I havenot gained much weight. I am 18 week and I have gained only 1 kg, my doc says it is OK if I donot gain much weight but my child is doing well.

So, consult your doc and ask about it in detail.

And every pregnancy is different so donot worry much.
