hi guys,

Does any of you keep the fast of Karwa chauth ? Do let me know as I do not know whether I will be able to do it or not. when are you planning to keep the fast ?

Hi Ruchika. Happy Karva Chauth. I have decided to do the same, eat fruit and not starve and then have main meal after the pooja. Let's see if I manage it fine.

hi,
i too want to keep the fast though my hubby is very much against it.anyways i asked my doc about it she said not to starve my self i can have fruits n milk products.as long as u dont startve its ok i think then.plz dont keep the tough one have something to eat i guess that willnot harm the baby too.
n plz dont keep it for 2 days im keeping it o 13th only

Hi Ruchika. I keep karva chauth fast but not this year. Discussed with hubby and it is not worth jeopardising baby's health. Will get the sargi from mil and start my day by eating it as usual. However, will eat during the day time and drink water too. Will do the pooja in the evening and give gift to mil too. So traditions followed by no fasting. I am doing this on 14th, Tuesday next week.
Hope you are able to avoid fasting too.

I know Simmi...It is a tough fast and we really don't want to take any risk at this time. But I am planning to keep the fast and will eat something after Pooja in the evening. I don't know but I am not able to convince myself for not keeping it at all.
anyways I think I will take decision only after I see my doctor today. Lets see what he has to say.
I will alos keep the fast on 14th. I asked becoa there is a confusion between 13 and 14 oct.
