dear archie
last time i wrote to u i told u about my cervical swab results....now its going to be two weeks since the test...i met my gynae last saturday...he did an internal examinationa and told me that the discharge has become normal now...i have to undergo sugar test and NST tomorrow...cos my sugar was 157 PP last month (which the dr said could be due to stress and tension that i m having as i m worried about this child as i lost my last one)...
i spoke to him about doing a caeserian...and he said that he wants us to consider a C- section as the last option if everything is well at the time of delivery...as of now he is hopeful that i may be able to deliver normally....
also he told me that he would do a painless labour if i do not co-operate with him at the time of delivery...as i cry and shout a lot whenever he does an internal examination...he feels i m very sensitive to even slightest pain....archie i hope it is safe to undergo a painless labour...
i will update you about my results of sugar and NST.....
thx for everything........

Dear Ash,
I am delighted to have your updates and sounds quite promising to me.

Your OB is one kind Dr. and you can be stress free with what he is offering to you.

I am however surprised to note that you cry and shout in pain with internal examination, especially when this is your second child and that too you delivered first vaginally -be brave all is going to be fine and trust me you are going to come with updates saying that your baby is healthy and you can't stop enjoying with his/her.

As long as your data is perfect you should remain worry free and let the C-section be last option. When you are going for sugar test, try and insist on a vaginal swab for culture just to make sure that vaginal path is clean from all infectious agents. This will boost confidence on vaginal birth. If all is fine then you should go give vaginal birth trial without a doubt. If the data says still some infection then let the delivery happen through C-section.

You have plenty of chances of hitting vaginal birth because you already had one. I don't think you should not co-operate during labor becuase you have experienced it before. This time labor is likely be little smoother than previous one.

Painless might mean use of Epidural and is common out here so don't worry.

Archie
