i tried your eggless cake recipe
1 &1/2 katori maida
1 katori malai
1 katori milk powder
1 katori grinded sugar
1 katori milk
1/2 tsp cooking soda
1 tsp baking powder
4-5 drops any essence
mix and grind in the mixer all the ingredients , apply little ghee to all over the baking tray,
everything was as it is but i substituted butter instead of malai and and i did that in pressure pan..the middle part was fine as like sponge but the upper part was just as like paste, why so?
And my hubby is telling me that it may need some more sweet..
and i was completly new to cake..
Now i want
1. comming to the upper part----did i need to cut off the upper part and level it..
2. can i make any alterations so that i can make chocolate cake honey cake and so..
if you have any other recipes of that please give me..
3. what is icing? is that a decoration which we saw in bakeries.. if so how can i make them in home..
so many doubts..please clarify all
