Hello everybody,

I am still suffering from nausea and skipping dinner almost daily. I really just don't want to eat anything though i am feeling hungry. I am getting sick and just can't bare this nausea any more. I am now 12.2 weeks. I am praying GOD that it should subside and eat well atleast in my coming months.

Can you please suggest some easy recipes and at the same time good for health. I am having great trouble to eat dinner. Can you suggest me what will be the best to eat for dinner with this nausea. Second time moms, please help me!!

Sorry to hear but listen by staying hungry will not help your nausea wil not go like that you are in fact inviting it more you have to eat 5-6 small meal it could be any indian food but if you think you have gas problem along don't take green salad like that take any thing cook except for fruite :-) .I take variety of fruits in a day and very small meals believe me this will help and especially you have cross that period now you have to help yourself by eating .I don't know where you are from if US take ginger ale if in india take lemon juice with a zust of ginger juice .And make all kind of diff. kihir eat chill to avoid smell, cracker to help nausea here and there .The idea is to not stay hungry or skip meal.
cut lemon and put the green side on the gas for few second and then put some salt papper and suck that juice .This is my second round believe me if i was told all this in my first preg. We tend to eat two big meal right make it small and into 5-6 and eat fruits.

'NO MORE STAYING HUNGRY O.K \";
Take care

Hello Soni,

Yes, I completely agree to what you said. I think, I am inviting more nausea by starving and skipping meals. I realized my mistake, and atleast now i will try to figure out what I am able to eat and try to keep eating small and frequent servings.

I am in US, but in general ginger and jeera are on the top of the list of my food aversions. But, I have seen many posts on this site suggesting to drink ginger or jeera water. But, I am sure, at present I cannot resists them:-)

Which week are you presently and when are you due? Have a wonderful and smooth pregnancy. Take care.

Regards,
blessed_mom

Hi blessed_mom,
Iam also in the same phase of pregnancy as u. my nausea feeling has started to subside by now, but still iam unable to eat properly yet. I dont know whether this would help u or not, but this is what i do.
i try to take more of liquid diet as compared to solid ones whenever i dont feel like eating, like buttermilk, fruit juices, milk, nariyal pani etc. i try to eat more and more fruits like apple, oranges, pomogranates, banana, kheera (kakdi) etc that help me in keeping my stomach full. Also since i can not have anything at once, i keep eating sumthing or the other like this after a gap of an hour or so, so that i dont i dont feel uncontrollable hunger.

Hope this helps u. Wish u all the best. dont worry, doctores say that this nausea feeling will subside soon (thats wat my doc told me in my last visit :) )

Take care,
Puneeta

Hi blessed_mom,

I can very well understand how difficult it must be for u to feel hungry n unable to eat anything, i just hope that u overcome this feeling. Well, whenever i have nausea, i immediately take juice of half lemon with pinch of salt in 1/4th glass of cold water, n keep sipping it, that's what my doc advised me, so u can also try.
As far as food is concerned, u may try those foods which donot have strong smells, like bread, potatoes etc, u can make sandwiches n try, take all sorts of fruits that u like, make fruit chat by sprinkling pinch of salt n lemon juice.
I am not much experienced but what i tried am just sharing with u. Hope it works for u. Take care of urself n the li'l angel within u :)

gud luck
