when r u planning to send ur MIL again??How shud we prepare them for the 2nd interview ? 100% sure that the 1st ques wud be Why u got rejected for the 1st time??how shud i prepare my parents for this question...in wut way the officer wud get convinced??i am sure noone knows the ans for this ques but still wutz ur suggestions? i am planning to send my parents after sep 11th last try..i heard when u dont have any subsquent changes frm ur prev interview dont reapply they r unlikely to succeed.How to make the officer see the docs..i am coming up with so many ways but still donno if i can try them..pls lemme know wut u think & how u r going to prepare ur mil..sorry for taking ur time...

Ashra Radhika replied. I hope u are doing fine. Very hectic nowadays for me with work schedules and classes to attend, but am fine.
As for reapplication, we already sent the papers, we reduced duration to 4-5 weeks, updated all of our official papers, added a note in the application letters specifying her ties in india. She will apply her papers next week or so and should get interview the end of the month or so, which pune visa office will take care of.
Since last time she went to the english counter, she is trying hindi counter now, if asked will say had a language problem and a missing document. I am trying to see if she can give a summary of her assets in one stamped document , they have to do it so lets see if she can which may help with all the rush a sumamry document may help the person at the counter to view in a glance.
From what i feel they had a prob with her going for 6 months so shorter duration now really less should not be a problem unless they are really in a bad mood. Its mostly luck seeing others experiences not so much of lack of documents. I know a senators letter helps, ours is a very small town so don't know where to get one, am enquiring in govt. offices. still have a 3-4 weeks till her interview.
If she doesn't get again, have asked my sister also to try, if not they can try drop box in dec. when my FIL will be 60 in nov. So even that is fine with me. Most of it is fate, having the officer not in a predecided mood of rejecting. heard many in bombay getting a reapplication approved so being positive. My MIL jokes she is going to say if officer say go after two years, that she has no guarantee she will be alive then so won't meed visa..i don't think emotional talks matter, but she is letting her frustration out.
Asked her to be calm, keep them calm, go thru the questions they may ask. If they don't even take a look we cannot do anything, just pray ,do what u can from here, check if they had documents which didn't thnk were enof, i cannot think of anything more.
Realistically she knows she may or may not get so she is also advicing me what to do everytime i call her, worse if she doesn't get, asked her to get a webcam so we both can chat and she can see baby online.
Rest just hope and pray. Take care and be positive and keep them positive.
