congrats anjali..
what lalitha said is right. you should go immediately. As for me, after testing at home i went in for a blood test to confirm my pregnancy. My gynac asked to me come at 6 weeks for first ultrasound. hopefully i can hear the heartbeat then:-))
ALL THE BEST......

Hi Anjali

Congratulations and welcome to the club!
I dont the answer but this is what I did - I went the day I tested. doc took a scan, confirmed the pregnancy, then asked me to come during the 6th week. I also went right away because I was spotting a little. She prescribed folic acid (I was already having that earlier), a multivitamin and progestrone (because of the spotting).
Its probably good to go right away, why take chances.

Best of luck!
