hi Priya And Shheja,
thanks u very much . Priya thats a good idea to feed like this. but u know today i tried to feed krish like u do..i made 4 ounce formula..took 2 spoon of cereal and mix with formula.when he woke up around 8:30 in the morning but he didn't want to eat...i fed him forcefully.then he had after that he didn't had milk.Actually at this time usually i breast feed him.

Sheeja...mixing fruits in cereal is good idea too.his ped also told me to feed like this.

any ways thank a lot once again.
love to ur little ones

hi sweety

its nice to hear abt Krish's app update.

Regarding solids, i gave 3 times solid per day. then my milk production got reducded in 3 weeks. that time i gave morning around 9am one fruit jar. then noon 1pm cereal(nearly 2oz after mixing with milk- thick consistency) then aroung 9pm i gave 1 vegiee.

Then i reduced 2 times solids per day after consulting my lac consultant. coz as Trisha is fully breastfed baby, i need good production till another 6months.

now im giving cereal in the noon and fruit or veggie in the night at 9pm like that.

for the past 4 days what im doing is, im just mixing 1 spoon cereal in gerber jar. like if i give her appple jar, then mix 1 spoon apple cereal like that. she likes that taste too.

what i read in gerber baby magazine was, \";mixing cereal in solids which has vitamin C will help in enhancing iron absorbtion rather than mixing in bm or cereal\";. so im mixing little bit cereal.

just takecare of ur milk production or pump out regularly. we need milk supply atleast another 4-5months.

takecare sheeja

Hi SWEETY
Good to hear update that is good.....
I am giving dylan 2 tblsp cereal in the morning when he wakes up followed by the milk left after preparartion of cereal...then after 4 hours or 305 hours i give milk....next feeding i give 1/2 jar baby veg and the about 4 oz milk then next feeding which is night one i give cereal again and milk that is it then he sleeps till the next day.....
he does not like oatmeal but like barley so i mix one tblsp barley and one oatmeal and give it this way :)
Priya
I tries one whole jar of veg instad of 1/2 but he was taking out the food so then i will leave only to 1/2 jar....

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
