How are u all doing? Yesterday I was little tired so took a sick leave and slept almost the whole day :-) But today look better may be mainly bcos the weekend is here. Hope u all are enjoying your days as expectant mother's.

I am also a frequent visitor to this board and always find you giving good sound advices to people...
My doc told me that i have a slight low lying placenta...pls. let me know if it is okay or not ..im worried..moreover since i am working i feel very tired and drained out...im on my 13th week...

Aditi, my next doc appo is on Oct 21st so will let u know what his comment on this issue after meeting him.

Just dont worry and if your doc had recommended no sex its better to be a little careful on exerting too much. Even its like climbing stairs or lifting something. It says in such cases to be on safe side its better bot to lift even a 1 gallon bottle of milk.

I hope I didnt make u more tensed. Just take care of yourself and keep a fresh mind and dont forget your prayers.

Thanks for your advice and the link..it was really helpful...if you dont mind, will you ask your doc about my problem...my dr has suggested complete abstinence from sex and Im following it but im very worried...Help!

Thank you so much for your kind words. But dear this is my first preg too but when I see a Q I do ask advice from my mom, sis & friends and sometime even my doc :-) thats why I was able to give some helpful replies.

What I read about low lying placenta is that as its in the earlier stage of the preganancy there is every chance for the uterus to grow upward. I am in my 10th week and as I too am working I know how strainful its. What I am doing for that is when I feel really drained I will take the option of working from home that day so I can take a break whenever I need and this way wont take too much strain. If you also can do this it will be really helpful for you otherwise do think of taking a short leave till u complete your 4th month as it says after that u tend to have more energy as your body wont be taking up too much energy of yours.
