Hi Archie...first of all...congrats on the birth of baby Ayush...hope both of u are doing fine now...

i have seen everyone posting up their ultrasound report just to make sure if everything is fine...so i thought of putting up mine too...pls. do tell me if everything is normal... this was taken around my 19th week...

LMP: 29.6.06 Clinically:19.1 Weeks EDD 5.4.07
Single viable fetus with free somatic movements
Max maturity 18.5 weeks (BPD 43 mm, FL 20 mm)
Fetal cardiac pulsation is seen normally on CFI:153 bpm.
No anomaly on present study. Fetal cranium, spine, limbs are normal.
Fetal fundic gas shadow is seen, all solid organs are normal. Followup sos.
Liquor is adequate to maturity.
Placenta is fundal, anterior. Os is close. EDD 8.04.07

Archie.. i had bleeding initially because the placenta got a bit detached..is my placenta fine now..what does fundal, anterior here means...do i have a chance of having a normal delivery? also the fetal length.. is it normal?

Thanks a lot in advance...

Regards,

VK,
FL is not fetal length, its femur length, the longest bone of body.
Also it isn't the time to interpret that on large scale as this will be about babys total height.

fundal means upward and anterior means placenta is facing your tummy not spines. You may not find fetal movements easily in the beginning due to this but not a major concern once you start to feel them on routine basis, in the 6th or 7th month. It may not influence vaginal birth option.

Since there is not anamoly detected it's fair to say baby is safe and sound.
