yesterday i went for my ultrasonography and this is my 2nd trimester scan. i'm a bit worry and also confused about this report.my gyn tells that everything is normal but will u pl's help me 2 clear my confusion.
scan reveals:
Single,viable intrauterine pregnancy.
F.H.R:161 beats/mins
Fetal cardiac activity is regular.
Unstable lie and presentation.
Placenta is fundo-posterior.Grade:1
Liquor quantity is adequate & clear.
No gross fetal anomalies
Fetal Parameters:
a)B.P.D: 47.0 mm.G.A.20Wks 2days.
b)F.L : 34.1 mm.G.A.20Wks 4days.
IMPRESSION:
Single viable intrauterine pregnancy.G.A.according to above parameters is 20 weeks 3 days.
My due date is april 23rd-25th.Once again i'll say to pl's give your valuable advice on my report.thanks and bye.

baby growing upto mark without defects and you should be happy about this. yes, placenta too is fine and positioned high at posterior, which is what one would expect. Given that AFI is adequate all is well.
