Dear all
I have no idea if this is normal but for a few days dylan makes loud screeching and screaming noises and gets happy doing it. It is really scary... also he sleeps only for 3 hours in the day- not sure if it is becauase he has a long stretch at night from 9 pm to 7 am also he is getting alert if i am making food in the kitchen he will wake up at the smallest sound ...help!!!

Hi,priya.
I think its common problem as my son aadi too screams very loud while he is playing or just like that he too gets scared when my cooker gives whistle or sometimes by the voice of mixie. when this happens we bring him in kitchen n show him from where the voice is coming n tells him that there is nothing to fear n he is safe. Abt sleeping My son Too has lessen his sleeping time in day ,its so good that Dylan sleeps well in night. so dont worry n enjoy the cute steps n activties of growing baby.

dear sweety n pridu..
My son also had this habit of waking in night at every 2-3 hrs ..though i feed him properly n fully then too he will wake. His Ped suggested us not to feed him in mid of night as this is the time that they shld learn that night is meant for sleeping n nobody eats in night n ask us to give him water when he wakes up n let him cry he will gradully stop waking up. Ok we tried doing so, for 1st 3-4 days he cries n cries we made him sleep anyhow by rocking cuddling n by putting him in his swwing n when he wont stop at all then only give him milk. So if u all really wnat to teach urs baby sleeping in night u've to b strict ..as now my son habit is really improved not fully but to some extent after trying for a month. U know somedat he sleeps throughout the night n wakes up at 5 or 6 am, n someday he will ask for mil agian in night at 3 o clock or something ...also Fisher Price aqaurium helps me lot in calming him n making go back to sleep. chalo then take care n love to urs babies.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
