Due Date Club January 2007:Low Foetus..No movements!!!

Name: Anu Sidhu Hi All,
Am 20 weeks pregnant,I dont feel my baby's movements yet.My doctor says its bcos of baby is laying low. Wud this mean tht my baby is not getting ample place to grow? Wud i hav a normal baby? This is my 1st pregnancy.Am really worried abt it. Please help!

No Movements

Hi Anu,

I wouldn't worry about it. I know some people who have carried low, and they had no problems. Also, it's kind of hard to tell what the fetal movement exactly feels like. I thought for the longest time that I had gas...but it turns out that fetal movement sometimes feels like bubbles bursting in your belly. Don't worry.

hey..

Hey..
i've just entered my 21st week... n even i cant feel the baby too well yet...
i met my doc yest.. she said its perfectly fine... first baby is normally felt around the 22nd-23rd week...
so, we're good.. dont worry...
just keep your palm under ur belly button each time u lie down... u wud be able to feel the baby anytime now.. :-)

Don't worry

Hi Anu,

I am also in my 20th week & even i cannot feel much movements. When i went for my checkup last week, my doc told me that it might take some more time. I think that is normal . She wud have told me otherwise. Dunno about the low lying foetus.

My due date (as of now)has been given as Jan 7th.
