Today i went for my ultra sound scan. I completed 22 weeks on wednesday. actually i dont show much belly even after completion of 5 months when compared to others.

my Ultrasonography report goes as under:

Real Time B mode Ultrasonography of the gravid uterus shows Single fetus in VERTEX presentation. Spines to the BACK.

BPD measures 5.7 cm
OFD measures 6.8 cm
Abdominal circumference measures 17.1 cm
Femur length measures 3.8 cm
Humerus length measures 3.6 cm
Tibia length measures 3.5 cm
Placenta POSTERIOR
Grade 0 LOWLYING
liquor volume is ADEQUATE
fetal heart motion is GOOD
fetal movements are NORMAL
fetal spines, thorax, abdomen and limbs appear to be NORMAL

Impression:
SINGLE LIVE FETUS IN VERTEX
PRESENTATION IN 22-23 WEEKS OF GESTATION
PLACENTA posterior
LIQUOR VOLUME IS adequate

the DGO who took the scan told me that the due date may be between april 11 - april 17.

i have not met my gynao yet as she is busy. i have to meet her with my scan report.

my gynao said there is no need for down syndrome scan if the lady is less than 30 years old.

archie and others - pls tell me whether the baby's growth is normal. i am so worried bcos i dont show much belly.

my last period date was 06.07.2006.

hi dear..it was nice to see ur reply in the previous post...good that u r also gaining weight...i have a doctor's visit on 15th.. dont know how much i have gained lately..will know then...and as u had suggested in the previous post...i have started taking dates, badam, and cashews....thanks a lot for the suggestion dear...

though i dont know much about the details in the ultrasound...urs does seem to be normal...pls. dont worry much about it...

my due date according to LMP is April 5 but according to ultrasound is April 8th, so it has to be somewhere between or around these dates...and ya this is my first kid too...:) so m really apprehensive....

my cute little kid after the pat responded and asked me to say hi to u and its friend inside ur tummy.

offlate i feel good movements. it keeps on kicking inside. its fine to feel it. aries born kids are very active and naughtier (i know it as i am also aries born dear).

hope to catch u up in chat soon. all the very best for 15th - i shall pray for u da. hv u gained some weight? has doctor told u any exercises?

where do u stay? who is with u da - parents or in laws?
