hope everyone & kids are fine..
Would like to know how many time we can give solids to baby..especially what time we should give..as of now I am not giving any solid to Rishon other then regular fruits as let him get adjusted with Dubai..will start from sunday.

How is Rishon doing ? Hope he has adjusted to Dubai.
At Abhi' s 4 month visit doctor said ic an start feeding him solids once a day and after around 2 weeks increase it to twice a day.after 6 months only we feed 3 times a day.She said start with rice cereal and after aroiund 10 days alternatively introduce fruits and vegetables.Now first feeding is in morning around 10 and second feeding i give around 4 in evening.i breastfeed him first(anyway he is not at all interested in breastfeeding).then i give him solid feeding.morning i usually give any new fruit or veggie which iam introducing.evening i give rice cereal with an already introduced fruit/veggie.

Rishon will get adjusted fully pretty soon.Its good that u r playing with Rishon.He will soon start playing with himself and will be up to mischief also pretty soon.
Iam somehow trying all my best to rbeastfeed.when i start feeding him many times he drinks with interest adn suddenly stops and turns his face away.then again he will try to drink and again this will happen.soemtimes after 10 tries he just gives up or he may continue feeding.many times when i try to feed him he just turns his face away.he refuses formula completely.he does same thing with that also but i think he doesnt like taste.today i reduced evening solids.his solid feeding is sometimes more easier than breastfeeding.
here doctor wouldnt recommend giving cows milk until baby has completed one year.Dairy products like cheese ,yoghurt etc u may be able to start by 6 months.

Thanks for ur reply..ya Rishon is somewhat adjusted here but still I feel bad for him as no one to play with him...though He enjoy playing with me & watching Tv but I feel with grandparents & cousin he was more happy...let see may be I will call my mum soon..howz abhi doing..if he is refusing taking BF what do you feed him then?is it ok to mix cows milk in homemade cereal?My India´ s doctor says no prob...
