No worries pooja. Just follow your babys pediatrician advice. Options available are- 1. Express/Pump the milk
can be stored for 5-6 hrs in room temp & 24 hrs in fridge.
2. Start food for the baby 20 days in adv b4 u join. These food are wheat flour roasted & then made in liquid form by putting milk, sugar. Also u can give fruits to the baby.

I am advicing this bcos I too did this & believe me your baby too will love this.

Pooja,

I am not sure where you live, but in US pumping milk during office hours is quite normal. I came back to work when my daughter was 10 weeks and she was solely on breastmilk till she was 11 months. I pumped my milk during office hours and stored it and she used to have pumped milk, in a bottle the next day while I was away. This was my milk supply did not drop and I was happy that she had breastmilk for 11 months.
You get different kinds for pumping machines. I used the automatic Medela double breast pump. You can pump both the breasts at the same time and it just take 15 minutes each time and I use to pump two or three times during the day.

One more think you can store pumped breastmilk in the fridge for one week and in the freezer for few months. Each time you want to feed the baby the milk should be warmed by keeping in hot water or using bottle warmer. You should not boil or microwave the breastmilk.

Hope this helps.

Hi Pooja,
First of all, Congratulations for your new arrival which is on the way!.
Don't worry about the situation right now which you have to face later upon your return to work. You can (like many other working women , including me) do one thing, pumping milk at work!
You can use pumping equipments which will help you retain your milk supply whenever you are away from your baby!
So cheer up!

RE:Adult breast feeding
I was not breastfeed in my childhood hence the idea of sucking and feeding from a woman's full, engorged breasts has infatuated me. It is a fantasy that drives me wild like nothing else, just the thought of laying my head in a woman's lap while she brings her swollen nipples to my mouth. Ideally, I'd like to finally explore this with the right female. If you are in or near... - Sanjayhyd [View Message]
