Hey Vindhya, Avi

You guys went to pleasonton facility for 3D US right? They don't have 4D, do they?

I checked the website but this place is not listed for 4D US.

Subject:  Live 3D Ultrasound is 4D



Hi Arshiya,

From my understanding, still pictures are considered to be in 3D and the live action video is considered 4D. Here is an article:

Even I was surprised as the facility we went was not listed. I believe they use the same GE machine. Here is an article about them:

Last week, KTVU news at 6 showed a short feature on them.

In the brochure they gave, they mentioned that it was a 4D facility.

Vindhya, we bought leather furniture at Penney's (cause we decided to go for leather this time) and hated the way it looked when it came home, so we returned them...
So we went for the upholstery kind at Lazy boy...They were delivered yesterday and go look quite good in our living room....we are planning on buying a matching recliner from Macy's so we will fulfill our desire for leather with it....... :)

Well, its like you buying us the sofa and love seat.. cause if you hadn't mentioned the store, we wouldn't have gone so far and we wouldn't have found our stuff and we would have bought something just becoz we were desperate and we would have been very very sad

Vindhya, I think this place is on Ray street right? I guess it's a different one than where I go for normal US.

Arshiya, correct me if I am wrong but I thought that live action 3D is considered as 4D.. I could be totally wrong..

I think in contrast to 3D, 4D allows your doctor to visualize internal anatomy moving in real-time.
I guess, so for us it won't make any difference if we get 3D or 4D.
