Hi all,

Just wanted to share some good news.
My daughter, Radha (15/Dec/04) was diagnosed with CHD when she was 3 weeks old. She had 2 holes in heart and one of her artery was little smaller in size. It was a terrible blow and I was scared in mind like hell even though doctors told us not to worry and treat her normally (which we did).

And guess what, at her six month followup with cardiologist, Doc told us GREAT news: Spontaneous closure of both the holes !!
The artery is still smaller, but according to doctor its very common in babies of her age.

So we can finally breathe sigh of relief. When doctor told us the news while Radha still on my laps for 2-d echo, I started crying...

We purposefully did not tell abt her disease to anybody because didn't want people to sympathize and remnind us abt the problem (and later affect her by talking abt it).. but I had mentioned it in one of my messages on this board (of couurse you all might have forgotten abt it as I am quite silent member)..
Still I felt compulsed to share the news here as I know you by your messages and know each one of us is very caring and loving mom !!

ofcourse some might remember me for my L O N G messages (like this one ;-) ) and for my hydro labor (also I was the first one to go in labor from our board).

That is good news! I too remember you from your message on hydrolabor. How is Radha doing? It must have been difficult for you to go all these na. You are very brave and so is lil Radha.

I am sure its a greaaaaaat relief to know your jaan, little one in doing ok, and good to share the news.

Even i was wondering where you were....you are right i remembered you most for your hydrolabor and i know i was so relieved when you had written that labor wasn't so bad after all.
