Hi Frds,
Well its my 1st baby,n i m in UAE,Far from family.Can u guys help me that what all tests has to be done in 2nd trimester?And what plz care n so on.Would really appreciate your help.

Subject:  Triple test in 18-20 weeks of pregnancy



Hi...i am in my 18th week of pregnancy and my mum and dad being doctors have advised me to take a triple marker test just to make sure that the baby does not have any genetic problems....I am planning to get it done this week.This needs to be done within 20 weeks..Just a normal blood test.It is fully called as triple marker test.I think it is compulsory in US but not made mandatory in India.Let me know if anyone else has done this...I am a bit tensed but what ever we have to accept it....

hey,
Morning sickness is not a much big issue, many ppl dont have it.EVen i didnt had much just had vomiting which lasted hardly for 10 days.But i still dont like smell of cooking.i get carving much not soo much like i want it anyhow.so dont worry i dont think all this is big issue. just tc of urself n pray that u have healthy baby. bye tc

even i' m residing in UAE but hail from India.now in 13th week first baby.actually your gynaecologist will tell you about the tests needed from time to time.i' m going to Prime Medical Center.so far i' ve only had blood and urine test and 2 scans to see babys growth.hope this helps.

well same urine n blood tests of glucose n thyroide tests n stuff.I m visiting Zulekha but just wanted veiws.Every month i go for a scan to see the growth of child.Hey all the best 2 u bye tc
