i' m actually from TTC board. sorry for posting my query here, but just thought u all are the best to advice me on this issue.
we are married for 4 years & i' m 26 yrs old. we started TTC from past 5 months.i have never been to any gyn for any kind of check up till now.today i got my periods & i' m very depressed about it.as u all have gone through this phase & now out of it successfully i need ur suggestion on how to go abt it.is it normal to fail for 5 months or does this indicate i have some fertility problem?should i consult a gyn now or shld i wait? plz, help me. any advice from u will be highly appreciated.plz if u all have any good tips on incresing the chnaces of conception, plz let me know. thank u all so much in advance. hope to receive ur help... ramya replied. First of all dont be depressed...
Getting pregnant is a time consuming process and not all couples are lucky in their first try...

Most fertile couples conceive within one year of TTC

In my case...I had very irregualar periods...Once 3 months like that...
So it was very important way to know when I actually ovulated..

As Sweety mentioned, you can try OPK.

I tried BBT method.
It is very simple but it may take few months to understand your cycle...
I found that in my case in every cycle my ovulation day was fluctuating between 27-35 days.

You can find out about BBT method on many websites...

And last please be happy...whenever I used to feel tensed whether I will suceed in this cycle or whether I will ovulate in this cycle, I failed in my trials..

So, finally I left everything to god...
Be happy and enjoy togetherness....and If you still suspect that there is some problem ....just visit a doctor and she will clear all your doubts..
You will feel more relieved..

We too were trying for 6 months without success.

Reason for delay for me is

1. Initially we were trying on 10,12,14,16,18 th day.

2. But actually I was ovulating late 25 day like that.

3. DO Check when you are ovulating using a OPK kit.

4. If can' t use OPK kit U try alternate days for 1 month surely it will b success.

Lastly, its a process which involves lot of things to happen at the right time.

My suggestion would be to forget this and try casually for a month or two without any stress.

Also, you are young and time is on your side.
