Hi Sudha,

I am from May2006 board.
You had referred Dr. Praveena Shenoi and I am very thankful to you for the same.

I found the Doctor very good and understanding.
I already visited her twice. In between I had spotting problem and luckily she was around
in the hospital. She had suggested me to take 1 week bed-rest.I am doing perfectly fine now.
I am 17w 5d pregnant and planning to deliver here in Bangalore itself.

I saw Advait's photos. He is very cute and has a lovely smile.
I observed that even in the first day photo after delivery you didn't look tired.
Thats cool..!!

Have a great day.
-Anu

Subject:  No Classes

Hi Anu,

Infact when I inquired abt classes, she has given her honest opinion saying 50:50. Infact Manipal itself got some kind of classes where they teach yiu through process of delivery and later.
I hav enot joined anything after sought her opinion. In the last month only I was able to go for walk for 15-30mins. Since I was working I used to walk sufficient enough.

Everyone advice to keep active till last and I feel so. But Doctor advice is must as she is the one who knows you and will advice specic.

I hope it helps u.

Sudha

Hi Sudha,

Thank you very much for the information.

I did consult Dr. regarding the prenatal classes. She said its good to be fit and active, but its not gauranteed that I'll have normal delivery if I take up these classes.

In my workplace I sit in the 5th floor and the lab is set-up in the 4th floor.
So I walk to the lab atleast 2-3 times a day. This should be a good enough.. right.. :-)

Once again Thank you for all your help.
Regards,
Anu

Hi Anu,

Praveena was also my gyno and I found her very nice and helpful. My delivery was normal. She gave full time and upto last moment she was with me.
She has not suggested any classes to me but ask me to go for walk.

Bye

Hi Sona,

I am so happy to know that your gynac was also Dr. Praveen Shenoi.
I am more happy to know about your normal delivery.
I know many friends and colleagues here, and I rarely get to hear about normal delivery.

I am so relaxed to know 2 of Dr.Praveena's patients who had normal delivery :-)

Have a great day.

Hi Anu,

I am happy to know that yr experience too is good with Dr. You are almost half way of yr journey, congrates.

Follow the Dr. advice relegiously and update her on every minute things.

Me not looking exhaust, may be as due to only 6hrs labor pain, out of which only 3hrs was very painful.

Best of luck...

Sudha

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
