Name: anjali kesarwani hi my son is 2yrs old.but he is not speaking sentences till now.from last one month i'm sending him to a play group.but no possitive change till now.we've been to a doc.and we've done his hearing test done,every thing is fine.he is very active and is good in motor skills.plays with other kids.say a few words.but he is very stuborn and shows tantrams some times.i'm worried about him and don't know what to do.

You should surely get him checked by a good therapist but at 2 yrs, kids concentrate on Motor skills much more sp Boys. I have a 2 yr boy who just wants to jump and play the whole time. I will suggest you to buy attractive story books / Poem books and read it to him everyday when he is at peace. Maybe mid day before his nap or at hs bedtime. Just do this religiously without fail and he will soon learn how to connect. Be creative and dramatic if required. I used to do this with my son and one day he just started speaking everything whatever I had been reading. To test this, after a month of reading him poems.... while reading, say half sentence and let him finish the rest. This will encourage him. All the best kk replied. hi

how to train?

Hi sarvjeet,

My son in 2 1/2 years. He understand everything. he will do what we says. But we are also giving a coach what u said. But when he speaks we are not understanding that words. It means it shows meaningless. So my problem is how to make him to start speak?

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
