I need advice from all you people out there.I ve been married for 3+ yrs nd v r childless.We stay in trivandrum, kerala.
My periods were irregular(30-35 days).doctor advised Ovafar tablets nd even after taking tht for 4 mnths i did not concieve. It was tht point tht my husband went in for a semen analysis and to all our shock the report was like Zero sperm...Azoospermia. My husband was totally dis hearted and was in a very troubled state.Consulted so many doctors in and out of trivandrum, took so so many medicies but all our effort was in vain. after abt 2.5 yrs of frustration we decided to go in for AID(artifial inseminaton donor).
It was very very difficault for my husband ...but he overcame this gradually...as even he realised the imp of a baby in our lives. During follicular study...gynec told me tht my eggs were very small in size and that I had a severe PCOD.Even on the 15th day my egg was just 13mm.So i was put on folic acid tablets for 2 months, along with HMG (Human Menopausal gonadotropins) from the 3 rd day of periods...for 6 days. We then did AIH for 2 consecutive days and in the second day, I was given an HCG injection.
We were again distressed when I got my periods again the next month.
We did not go in for another round of AID immediately as we wanted to check whether it is safe for a lady to be on gonadotropins continuously.Pls help me out with all ur suggestions. Wat should we do.Shd we continue AID tretament again...or is there any other option available to us.We are in real need for some help and moral support from all u folks out there.

I wonder what is your current situation, we are also going through same phase where my husband is azoospermic, his hormonal report os ok, he is non-smoker/alcoholic etc...god knows how come this problem has occured and doctors just advised us a biopsy or donor inmeination. Both you are your husband are suffering with infertility problem.

One hand you are suffering with Poly Cystic ovarian syndrome, a conditions many cysts (ova) are present, but at the time or maturation, non of the ovum is surviving. this is easily identifiable as symptoms of obesity. Are you obese?. Do you have Acne (pimples) problem? have you checked your glucose test with any doctor which could be with elevated level? do you have hair growth on your face (likely to be mustache like line-type)? do you have black marks behind your neck?
if any these are found you are with PCOS.
Please start NACFIL (FOURRTS) 1 tablet 3 times a day for 6 weaks, immediately after the menstruation, monitor the ovulation and if you become pregnant spontaneously then stop NACFIL. or else continue same dose for 3 - 5 menstruation cycles.

For your husband! smoking/alcohol =? then it may be the main reason.
No smoking/alcohol.
if not smoking then the reason of infertility is unknown.
Ask Him to take UBIPHENE (FOURRTS) 1 tablet a day for 25 days. after 5 days gap Again the same medicine to be started. like this three cycles (3 months) to be completed. wait till the positive results WISH YOU ALL THE BEST irfan replied. We are using sperm taken directly from his testes and then fertilize the eggs by ICSI. Do you know that is also possible? Or is your husband not producing any sperm?
