My Weight

Hi
I have gained I think around 38-40 lbs.
I am 35 weeks tomorrow. My doc is ok with my weight gain, ideal for me is 35-45 pounds, I think I will exceed that by few pounds.
Yes we need to work too hard to reduce later...

hi ritu,
i have completed my 35th wk and gained 19 pounds.my friends say that its very less but my doc doesn't agree with them.well he wants do an ultrasound after i complete my 36th wk to see the baby's position and the weight.hope the baby is in rite position.

Ritu, You are doing perfectly fine I think. Average weight gain is 25 lbs - 35 lbs. I believe you are going in the right pace.

Suni, I am also in the same boat. I am in my 33rd week and gained 35lb so far:(
This varies between women to women and also pregnancy to pregnancy. My doc told me that she saw people who gained 50 lbs also. So, don't worry and we should not compare with others also. Only thing we need to do is put extra extra efforts to shed these pounds off.
