Due Date Club July 2005:Joining new Firm

Hi Friends!

I am joining new firm from Monday and lots of things are going on in my mind so thought to share and take friends suggesions.

My current firm was cool and not hectic work, close to my house (8km) so i used to leave around 9.45am and back by 7-7.30pm, This schedule was giving enough time to finish all work related with baby like twice BF, Baby bath etc.... New work place is 17km and office timing will be 9.30-6.30. I have to leave home max. by 8.30am and coming back is not sure yet as I have to see how will be work.

Till now I only have given bath to Advait and now have concern how parents will manage without me. I just read couple of posting where mentioned that some of you give baby bath in the night, was wondering how much it will be fasible in weather like Bangalore (Max temp 21degree C and min 15degree C as of now). How will baby react as so far he got bath in the morning.
I will appreciate if some suggestion come on this issue. Just for info. I offered him head bath everyday. Thanks in advance.

(Anyway I am planning to call his Ped. to sought his suggestion too)

Regards,
Sudha

Hi Sudha,
I give bath to Arjun at night but I have heating system in my house so I can adjust the temperature. I don't know if you have that facility in banglore or not. If not then it may not be a good idea considering its winter time but dr can suggest the best

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
