Anyone of you finding any sign of teething..about Rishon he keeps his hand thruout the day in his mouth also when i feed him instead of sucking bottle nippel he bites it...that' s funny :)somehow i have to manage feeding..Does it painful?will it trouble babies...what precaution 1 should take? i think teething can go for a long time before we actually see teeth coming.Babies drool a lot.Lot of saliva flows from mouth.Anybody facing that.This can also cause a rash in the chin and near mouth.
Abhi is also screeching nowadays a lot.He is not yet singing but Arjun used to sing and i have a video of him singing when seated in bouncer.Babies really love to hear their screeching sound.As Dimple said screeching is many times followed by a major spit up. I was wondering if he is eternally hungry or wht as he loves to keep all his fingers in his mouth, but now I know....and as you said, all kids are the same. Now a days she like to screem a lot... she screeem with lot of pressure and then smile.. and again she does same... I get scared of her throat...:)

Dimple replied. Same with Sai, he wants to chew on his hands all the time and has started taking less milk than before and drools a lot...I called his doctor and she said he may be teething... she asked me to massage his gums which I do with a soft finger tooth brush and he loves it...
My coworker even suggested hylands teething pills and she said they work very well on her son. I bought them but have not started yet....

sudha reema replied. same here i used to feel he is hungry but no thats nt the case he alwys put his funger in his mouth spcly whn he is agitated ...or cranky etc...its more....even his bites r painfull...i guess nthng can b done on this Sabitha Jayashankar replied. Abhi also keeps his hands and fingers in his mouth all the time,if u bring ur finger nearby he tries to bite and chew it.These have been happening for more than a month.I really doubt if he will get teeth soon.Arjun also used to bite everything chew on everything but his first teeth came at 8 months.He started it by 4 months.
When teeth r going to come gums become red and swollen may be little hot also.After sometime u will see the gum is whitish due to erupting teet.With Arjun ,he is bleeding from gums when new tooth erupts now.Sometimes baby may also have a low fever and will surely be cranky.There is something called oragel which can be rubbed against gums to relieve pain.ask babys doctor.
I think babies like to put fingers in hand all the time.just see that his fingers r clean.Iam facing a problem with Abhi.When iam changing his dirty diaper,as soon as i open diaper his hands go to diaper and try to dirty his fingers and immediately he tries to chew his fingers.That will cause illness so iam trying to prevent his fingers. At times Abhi also bites bottle nipple,worst the breast also.
