can we give Yoghurt to baby?As far as I know we shouldnt as babies are mostly on milk...milk & yoghurt combination is not good..but I have seen many people giving youghurt to baby..

Sorry for delay in reply.Cows milk is usually not given during first year. but yoghurt is safer than milk.I think it can be started after 6 months.But u check with baby' s doctor.my friend used to give yoghurt to her baby as the baby hates formula milk and later cow' s milk.But whenever u start something new try it for baby for a atleast 3 days before starting any other new food so u can see whether there r any allergy reactions.also start giving it in the morning once so u can notice reactions during the day.

I have read on indianparenting site only that we shouldnot give babies curd before six months.. rest ask ur doc before introducing anything to ur baby..
