Due Date Club February 2006:How do u calculate the due date

Can anyone please let me know how to calculate the due date.

The doc gave me my due date as Feb ending as my due date,But after reading some topics here in the board i am confused now.

I know that they calculate it with the first day of last menstrual period date....

Any one please throw some light on this

hi! its very simple dont get confused. juust add 40 weeks to the 1st day of ur last periods. so ur due date isfeb 25

Hi Jaya,

Your EDD will be February 26th 2006. Still make sure with doctor. In the example i gave if LMP date is april 26th then EDD will be Feb. 2nd.

Your EDD should be Feb 26th. And according to 40 weeks it would be feb. 25.

Hi Jaya,

You are right, they count from last menstrual date. Add 9 months to ur date and one extra week - that's how they calculate! for example: if date is : April 26th - then by adding 9 months it will be february 26th and add one more week so that will be March 2nd!

Hi!

Hi Ja,
I think they calculate the due date based on 40 weeks from your first day of last period. I am not too sure abt it....but think it's right.

You can go to google and then type \";pregnancy due date calculator\"; You would get a lot a websites that just take in your first day of last period and calculate your due date. I hope this helps you. How are you doing otherwise?

I tired some websites and the due date they gave me was Feb ending.....Still not sure this time i will ask my Doc.
