Now my worry is, I' ll be travelling aftr 15 days n I thot of including biscuits n some other food lyk diff types of kheer to her diet which includes milk but now wat can I give her that doesn' t require milk ?......

Am also worried abt her weight....Since shez not taking milk will it effect her growth though am still BF her.....

hi sunitha dont worry about travelling food , one thing i want to say is our pead told that biscuits decreases apetite of child give them less prefernce .i give cerelac which is prepared with rice and 3 types of dals.
wash and dry roast rice and each dal separetly.3cups of rice and each dal one cup. make it powder (not finely ).u can add water or milk to that and cook for 1 or 2 sounds of pressure cooker. u can avoid milk and prepare with water as ur child is allergic to milk.
i hope this will help u .
bye take care.

Hi sunita,
I dont remember the Name of the brand of soya milk that i gave to Aarush.
I will search for that...
but its easily available in medical shops and one thing more it was not an indian brand... so a little costly than lactogen...
but its help my son a lot in his gastric prob. will let u know the name...
love to suvi

Hi Sunita,
As Roops said it is known as Lactose Intolerence. Aarush also had this prob and my paed recommended me Soya milk feed for 2 time. Try this and if she is able to digest soya milk than u can give her lots of things with the base as Soya milk. Even biscuit u can dip in it and give her. Try giving her biscuit in solid form….. a small piece.... she will gradually make it soft and swallow it...
Also consult the paed....
Everything will be fine.
These children are born to test the patience of their parents.
Love to suvi...
Bye

Hi Sunita..i think that is called Lactose intolerance..
as long as u r breastfeeding, no worries..if possible, try expressing milk using a breastpump and use it as an alternative for preparing food..

as it is, it is recommended not to give cow' s milk to babies before 1 yr..check with doc if its safe to give formula to your daughter..and as prathi said, include lot of fruits and veggies in her diet..

hugs to little one and the mommy :) dont worry..
