Baby Club July-September 2007:Teething

Hi
Finally Aarush has started teething. 10 day back he got his first upper tooth and 2 days back his second. There were no symptoms like loose motion and all in the first one. In second he got loose motions.
He is not eating solids(cerlac, khicdi)from the day he started teething. I forcefully give him and he keeps in his mouth for some time and then either spills it out or swallow with making sound like he is going to vomit.
Does this happens during teething? Its 10 days now and he is only on milk. Like Barish said for Apoorva that se is not eating same is with Aarush too. He only wants to play. I am very much worried. Will only milk help him and what abt his weight. With so much effort he gained a little weight. On 5th may his vaccination is due. will check then.
These days are very tough for me and my hubby. Bringing up a child is very difficult. Thanks to our parents.

hi KT

hey gr8...aarush has started teething...congratulations for that. abt his eating problem, i can understand ur worries and concern. apoorva is still not having food properly and i hv to force her for everything. today v went to her pead and discussed it with him. he told us that this is the normal behaviour of 8-9 month old babies. he suggested that v shoukd introduce finger foods to her such as toast, wheat bread, pan cakes, teething biscuits etc. give him in bite size so that he can pick it and eat himself. try this and let me know whether it works or not. i m also going to try it from today.

i know it is difficulf to bring up a baby and v need a lot of patience for that. dont worry everything is going to be fine.

hugs to aarush
