Hi everyone!

Hope you all are enjoying your pregnancies!

Since we are all close to the 18-22 week range now, I thought it would be a good idea to discuss AFP and level 2 u/s as these tests are coming up soon. I have both next week, and I'm a little anxious about the AFP as my Doc said the results take a week to come in. I am sure they will be negative, but I cannot help think about what next if they do come out positive. I know its hard to imagine, but are you all giving this any thought?

The level 2 u/s, I'm really looking fwd to! We'll finally get to see our little one again, and in much detail this time. I dont want to know the sex of my baby, but I've read that sometimes its too obvious in the u/s. Can we ask the doc to take care that he doesnt make it obvious? :-)
Dont forget to take a VHS tape to record the u/s if your Doc has the facility.

Hi,
Í started my 20th week. I got the AFP test done in the 17th week. It was negative. Don't worry, it will come out ok. We have the ultrasound next week, and we'll be taking a VHS tape with us.

Good luck on the test.
