Hey Avi, Vindhya,
Sorry for the confusion about my pic. I did remove it from briefcase on friday and I was going to add another one in groups, but suddenly I had to go to DMV and I totally forgot about it. Weekend was very hectic, and saw your messages today, I will upload mine in groups right now.
Hope you guys had good weekend also.

Arshiya replied. Hey Avi,
I am also kinda lazy and laidback on things. But, let me tell you one thing, I intend not to scare you but one of our friend was due on nov 4th, and she delievered a baby on oct 3rd already. She had no signs of labor and even baby was still in breech position till one week before. So, she was very much relaxed thinking still have long time to go. So, this weekend as soon as I heard about her, I just stared washing everything finally.
So, be ready specially when you have to get things from outside yet.
By the way, I hope you have coupons from Babysrus, they sent me so many last week, and when we went for our final shopping on Sat, we saved whole lot of money with those coupons, plus free nursery monitor (not a very good one) but if you want to give that to someone as a gift, it's a good one. Too bad, we already bought ours ahead of time.
Vindhya replied. Hi Arshiya,
I am glad that it was you who removed it. We all need to do the same.
Hope you are taking lots of rest. Did you finish packing for your hospital?
I took the tour on Saturday, it wasn't very eventful. They just showed the rooms etc., There were so many couples, I could hardly hear the instructor.
Priya/Avi,
Someone asked about circumcision, and she was saying that not many go for it.
Avi,
Did you take your tour on Saturday?
Arshiya,
Have you already taken yours?
Vindhya
Avi replied. Hey Arshiya, I was hoping you and not some prankster removed it from the briefcase... I am glad you did....
Upload one to our group at your convenience, no hurry....
I almost made a trip to neck of the woods yesterday to visit babysRus, but after printing out the directions I became quite lazy and wanted to take a short nap and postponed the visit to next week after I woke up.... . so hopefully next week, I will get my behind there and finish shopping....
Have fun....

Hi Arshiya,
In your case, it does sound sensible. If I register, it's like buying gifts for myself. Oh well, atleast I'll get the coupons.
Thanks for sharing the information.

Vindhya,
Ya, Actually I had traditional shower in NJ and I was sure didn't wanna carry things all the way here, so I didn't register. But then, my boss kept insisting I do registry, and I told her I didn't want to, She said just do it now since you are home, so I did. That time, half of my shopping was completed so I just rest of the things. So, my work friends got gifts from there, thatswhy they wanted me to register also I had another shower from my husband's friends, they also bought things from there and the rest I just bought this last sat. Yes, I did register online and it's free and simple. It also helps you when you go to the store, just print out registry and pick things so won't forget anything.

Hi Arshiya,
That's a good idea. I thought it was only for baby showers and gifts. I guess, it doesn't matter. Did you register it online? Is yours a comprehensive one?

Girls,
Hey you know what, maybe you can try 1-800 number but I know for sure I started getting this coupons after I did my registry.
So Avi, I would suggest that you just do registry online for no reason and I am sure you will get coupons at home also.

Avi,
If you call their 1-800 number, they should be able to send some coupons. Try the following web-site and see if you find something useful.

Hey Avi,
They don't have coupons in the store, but I received them in the mail at home. I don't think even they have them on the web. And you know what, I threw away the rest I had just yesterday, otherwise I am sure it would have been helpful to you. But, If I get more next time, I will surely mail it to you, so you can use them.

Hey Arshiya, the only thing I have so far is a baby moniter... funny, the one thing that is free is what I already have.... :)
I have no coupons from the store... do you get them when you visit the store once or can you download them from the web??????
You are so right about the delivery.. I know someone who delivered at 35th week without any early signs and symptoms... so like you said, I need to get things ready..atleast get some basics and the car seat for now.. I will surely finish it up this weekend, cause we need to get the car seat installation check too...
every time I feel something that feels like false contraction I decide to get things done but then I go back to being a procrastinator.. not good..

Avi,
They did show us the nursery but couldn't get to meet the pediatricians. They said that we should decide our pediatrician before so he/she can take care of the baby if there is any problem. I guess, Arshiya's case sounds different. Her hospital has their own pediatricians, that'll be good.
As for the room, I don't think we can book it in advance at our hospital as well.

Hi Arshiya,
Thanks for the comforting words. Yes, it would be embarrassing if it breaks at some odd place. I am hoping that it doesn't happen at office!

Hi
10-12 babies a day, that's a lot. Don't worry about waterbreaking, the actual labour doesn't start until about 2 hours after, so you will be ok. But, now all my friends telling me not go out much, since water can break anytime, and it would be so embarassing being in the store or someone else's place.
My hospital is only about 15 minutes from our place too, with no traffic.

Hi Arshiya,
Don't overexert yourself and hope you are feeling better now.
I will be delivering at Summit Hospital in Oakland. I am glad you had a good tour. They said that they deliver 300 babies in a month and sometimes 10-12 babies on the same day. I've gotten a bit nervous from Saturday after they talked about water-breaking and stuff.
Hope your hospital is not too far from your place. Mine is about 20 minutes with no traffic.

Hey Arshiya, glad to hear that you had a good tour.. :)
I am sure it must be boring at home and going out sure makes us feel better.I was home most of last week and was looking forward to the weekend so I can go out. ..but I seem to get tired after about 30-45 mins of walking, so like you it gets quite uncomfortable at night...
We are on the kaiser plan.. and I've been going to Kaiser, Richmond for my prenatal.. but will deliver at Alta BAtes in Berkeley... Although, I am not a big fan of Kaiser hospital, I heard good things about Alta Bates and I hope it lives up to my expectations...

Hey Vindhya,
Ya, taking some rest but since I get very bored in weekdays, I try not staying home in weekends and it overexerts me. So, after so many activities over the weekend, finally I was very tired and uncomfortable yesterday night and was telling my honey that I am not going anywhere anymore. But, I am sure by next weekend, I will be again ready to go out:)
Anyway, we had our hospital tour on Sat also. It was pretty good, and we were both pretty happy after going thru that. They showed us rooms, nursery and we also met inhouse peditrician and nurses. It was good.
Vindhya,
What hospital r u going to? I am at San Ramon Regional Medical Center.
Avi, What about you? What hospital r u going to be in?

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.
