Womens Issues:Medicines to delay periods

I got my period after my delivery and now it comes every month. I am in US right now but next month I am going to India with my baby alone and my period is due on the date of travel. I know it is very annoying during travel and with the baby.I dont know whether I can use bathroms properly. Can anybody suggest me any medicine to delay periods?

Oral contraceptives are used to manipulate period.You will have to consult your doctor to work out the dates and it's best to start from the seventh day of your last menstrual cycle(if you want to pre-pone period this month).
