2005-11-21
Name: Anitha

Hi,

Laya will be turning 4 month on Nov 28th.Today we had taken her for 4mnth check up n vaccination. SHe weighed 16 pounds 4 oz and height 25 inches. Her growth is over 90 percentile.
She gave a good smile to nurse when she weighed and took her height measurement. and she started babbling and smiling to paed when she checked laya's body and grabbed paed's finger when she was checking heart beat.
Laya has strted rolling over from back to front. and she cries for sleep. she is very outgoing n smiles and babbles.WHen I start taking her photos, she recognizes and starts smiling n giving expressions. and i have captured so many moments...
we are travelling to india on dec 4th. her grandparents are eagerly waiting to see her..

Thats all from my side..

My hugs and kisses to ur little ones...
Anitha

Hi Anitha,
First of all, Laya is a very pretty girl and second you are a very good mother. Laya seems to be doing great for her age and great to know that she is rolling over from back to front.
Today, for the first time, I saw Arjun rolling over from back to front and he did that twice. I couldn't give him too much tummy time due to his reflux so far but am making a consious effort to do so looking at his slow progress in rolling over. He has still not shown any interest in rolling over from back to front.
He is interested in sitting though:) donno whether this is the right time or not but he would hold my fingers and will come forward, all the way up to sitting position without any effort from my side. I had consulted his dr and he said thats fine.
We also wanted to go to India but as my in-laws are coming here soon, our trip is postponed for another 6 months.
Anyways... you have a great trip, your folks must be very excited to see the little princess:)

Hi Anitha,
Laya is doing very well. I have seen all her snaps and she looks so bubbly.

So you must be busy in preparing for awaiting visit, hope others journey experience will help you in planning well. Which part of India you are visiting and for how long? In south side, it is still raining and weather is really cold. Northside anyway it is cold. So you need to plan accordingly.

Thats all for now ....lots of love to Laya.....

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
