Name: Vidya
Our board is indeed very active and it is so nice to see so many new people joining.
I saw pics of Megha, Santosh, Yash, Sid, Rishi, Kich & Vrisa. OH my God, they all look so cute and I just want to squeeze them all:) Maurni, I was able to see only 2 pics of Vrisa. One in her spring outfit and the three of you is the other one. I remember reading that you had posted some more pics. Am I right? Tweetie, I loved all your captions.
Swathi, what is your baby's name? I would love to see pics of him. I had posted Diya's photos in yahoo groups(Januarymommie). In one of the messages is the link to my snapfish albums. I will try to post some new pics too. Boy, it must be hard for you to take care of a toddler and a baby.
Sweety, why no messages from you? How is Neel doing now? Are u a physician(read about your peds rotation)? What is your specialty? Have you gone back to work?
Sush, congrats! You must be feeling much better now after Tia took the battle. Isn't she a sweetheart and you will not have any complaints against her now. Didn't you start her on cereal at 4 months? What is this Annaprasan?
PK, why no messages from you? How is Smriti doing now(her skin rash)? I hope everything is ok with you and her.
Vani, love Rishi's smile. He looks like an active boy. Diya is pretty active too.
Reena, cetaphil and aquaphor are good for eczema I believe. I have also heard about Elidel. I donno if it is good for babies. Try not to put soap on him much. Don't give him too many baths(aveeno baby wash is good I believe). Eczema could be because of food allergies too. Do you eat wheat or peanuts?(I know you have avoided dairy) Check with your pedi.
Jayshree, it must be hard for you to take your parents out in MN weather with a small baby. Don't be hard on yourself.
I feel very tired too all the time. I think it is because of lack of exercise for me. I have insomnia too. Even if Diya sleeps, I am not able to becos my body is tuned to not sleeping.
Girls, if your baby wakes up every 2 hrs, try not to nurse because they might be waking out of a habit. If they do it only for 3-4 days, it could be a growth spurt. But if they wake up around the same time every day, I believe it is habitual waking. Try to pacify them by rocking or giving them a paci or patting. They will go to sleep without associating sleep with the nursing. They will not wake up after a few days.
Sorry for the long message. I get to post only on fridays or the weekend and not many people get to read it I guess(or is it becos it is too long all the time:) )
