Here is a way of making our tiny tots eat all the leafy veggies or any veggies they dislike.
The recipe goes this way...
First cook moong dal and rice in 2:1 ratio (ie.2 tblsp of moong dal and 1 tblsp of rice) you could increase the quantity as per ur taste. After these two are half way cooked, add some diced potato along with a bit of salt( add salt only if ur baby prefers) and after the potatoes are nicely cooked along with the rice and dal...add palak or any green veggies along with litle amounts of peas and corn. Then just cook for 5 mins max and close the lid and stop cooking further. After this whole mixture cools off puree in the blender with 1/4th cup of paneer. Finally u can grate a clove of garlic and fry it in butter and add to the blended food(This helps reduction of gas formation) Add this to the puree and mix thoroughly. Its ready to serve!!!
I know this seems a bit tedious but its worth it. Its highly nutritious and is very tasty too. Just substitute it with any veggie combination you prefer. I hope this helps!!!
Happy Eating:-)

One more easy solution especially for working moms..

Juts take all types of dals, and rice in 2:1proportion. wash throughly, dry in the sun and powder it.

store it in an airtight container. ready for nutritious khichdi.

at the time of cooking it, add salt and turmeric, your choice of leafy veggies/potatoes/ green peas/tomatoes/ cauliflower florets..

serve with butter, shredded ginger garlic / pepper

you can add soups, chicken..as per your choice. lots of methods for changing tastes and nutrition levels.

So my sister’s child is a very fussy eater. She generally makes veggie cheese rolls or sandwiches to get her to eat her vegetables. She tries to use colourful and pretty veggies to get her to eat. Giving smoothies, fruit salads and milkshakes is another appetizing and attractive method. In fact she even decided to supplement her diet with Immuno Boosters and Brain Booste... - say [View Message]
