dont worry about ritika not eating..it may b due to teething...sakshi used to also b like tat for nearly 10days...nw tat her teeth is out she s ok..else she used to b very cranky even in the nights..!!

hi ramya,

i heard from one of my friends that you can start giving curd by 8th month. i am not so sure..check with ur ped.

since 2-3 days ritika is making lot of fuss while eating solids. she doesnt eat.. ends up crying. even for her fav fruits. i am really worried yaar. she drinks milk.. so touch wood thats good. do you gals think this might be busy of teething?? she cries a lot while feeding solids and even in general she gets teary eye.

this is really bothering me. night also she wakes up crying. let me know if you gals have any suggestions, ok..pls.

Hey RV,

Dont worry.It may be due to teething.Sometimes during very Hot season they dont feel like eating,it may be due to that also.She will be OK.Ritvik also sometimes wont eat properly.

Ramya,
My mom says that once I start giving rice I can give curd too. Iam going to start rice after her choroonu(annaprasanam) on the 20th. I'll also be checking with my paed. So I'll let u know what the doc says. The curd that we give them should not be sour or cold. Iam thinking of making a little bit of fresh curd each day to give her.

Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced.
