hi some one plz help me i want to decore my room and home in traditional indian style is there any site where i can hve pictures to decorate i do not live in india but i live their traditional look as they r in there dramas pure indian look plz help sonal replied. To decorate your house in an indian style,you can look for indian artifacts.
Look for them online there are plenty of websites.you can google and look.
by artifacts i mean small decorative stuff like paintings,vases,wall hangings etc.
There could be indian stores or small indian shops near where you live.
there are many chinese and even american stores that sell indian style decorative stuff.
I live in USA and if you are also in USA then look in walmart,pier1 etc.
pier1 has many indian style stuff.
You can find good indian/pakistani style rugs everywhere these days.
try and get one/two of these.
if there are flea arkets around look for brass/copper vases and you might end up finding many other indian things in flea markets.
Indian style alo means a lot of bandhini
and colorful dupatta like drapes etc.
you can find indian style materials almost every material shop.
buy 2/3 yards and use your imagination.you can drape it around windows or even like a curtain.
I am indian muslim female living in usa.
