hello friends,
Finally reached 10th week today,2 more long weeks to complete my 1st trimester..and the very obvious 6 Very very long months for my bundle of joy to arrive.Hmm I know its a very long wait, but sharing my feeling with u ppl,n u all sharing ur ultrasounds, feeling, thoughts in this sep due date board, relives me lil bit.It wud be really Great,if we ppl get to chat on messenger. What do u say gals?Donno how to go abt it thou?anyone with ideas plz convey.

Now after so much intro ,lemme cum to the point..:-)
My Update-As I had mentioned earlier,I was anemic,(am still).Doc wanted to know the reason of me having anameia,so she did electrophoresis.By doing this test u can know the reason of anemia.Basically there are sum reasons to have anemia.3 among them are due to Thallasemia, sickle cell anemia,or nutritional anemia.Doc was sure by luking at me,that I had nutritional anemia, but still to confirm on this,Electrophoresis was done.Blv me gals,I was so scared,my mom started doing all kinda pujas(anyways its a daily routine for my mom,now tho it was done on a large scale). For 3 long days they made me wait for my results n these 3 days were like eternity for me.,n finally the Result was OUT.I was tested Negative..Yipeeee.So my anaemia was due to nutrition. Now I know why they give so much importance to Healthy diet...Now I' m eating more healthier. No junk food at all:-(
n friends,I know its too early too see my baby bump,But yes,I can see it allready..My stomach is lil Bulged,N I' m very happy.None of my Pants r fitting me.Only salwars for me now..I' ve gained 5 kgs already. So gals,r u also feeling lil bulged?I mean, can u see lil increase in ur tummy size?Have u ppl gained weight?do write to me abt ur updates.Very eager to know...
Till then Eat healthy n take care.

hi everyone
i' m in my 13th wk now..nausea has slightly gone down..so i think it will be gone by 2nd trimester. dont know how much weight i' ve gained so far..

meghnah-good to know that your anemia is not due to some major prob..healthy eating will take care of it.

and coming to the clothes..yes..definitely pants have got tighter..i' ve even outgrown my ' fat' pants! i read soemwhere that instead of buying all maternity clothes, u shud buy more of plus size clothes (and few maternity ones as well) which wud be useful for a longer time after delivery.

sandhya, i too have started noticing a faint line down from the belly button..and the belly button is shrinking too!!

emotionally..the roller coaster ride has already begun! i think our husbands wud be able to answer that better..LOL!! somedays some simplest of things said are enough for me to cry my eyes out! sometimes i just snap at DH for no reason at all! :D

anyways..all of you take care and keep posting.

Hello friends

Good to hear about everyone.I think I am in my 14 th week.I still feel queasy at times but for the most part it' s been good. Don' t really feel hungry though. My son keeps me on my toes.Just waiting for spring to spring up so that we can go out on walks.

My pants have started getting tighter.I am wondering if anyone is noticing the faint line from the belly button to the V...I love seeing it! I never bought any pregnancy dresses last time and managed with salwars. The stretch band that someone mentioned sounds interesting as I do not want to pay a fortune on maternity dresses.

So, how' s everyone feeling emotionally? Have you all told your family members and friends? I have just started telling people.

Have a doctor' s appointment tomorrow. I hope it' s there as my doctor has been sick for a long time.

Take care
Sandhya

Hi meghnah,
glad to know.. your anemia is nothing serious. won' t your doctor give you iron supplements? since you are not nauseous either.. maybe you can have iron supplements.. ?
usually iron is not given in the first trimester because it induces nausea.. but you don' t have nausea...

anyway! eat some betroot with dinner every night... it' s a huge source of iron... helps a lot! apart from other iron rich foods of course :-)

Hi meghnah, ramya and sue!

I am in my 14th week now... and though i have' nt gained weight as yet.. i can see my bulge clearly... and my pants won' t fit anymore :-)
so i went out and bought the pregnancy band thing.. i think in the US you can get a \" bella band\" (trade name) which you can wear over your pants such that you can leave your pant undone and wear this band over your pant waist.. so you can wear your usual pants for some more time... believe me.. it is worth it.. because you will anyway need to buy lots of sizes in maternity wear too.. as we progress :-)
hmm.. can' t wear salwars here as yet.. it' s too cold for that.... i am looking forward to shopping for maternity clothes.

Hi Meghnah,

I think we both are almost going hand-in-hand :-)
Tomorrow I will be entering 10th week...so I have doctor' s appointment on Friday..

And regarding weight gain..I am already 2-3 kgs over weight..so I am trying not to put on weight in my first trimester..
So till now I gained may be just 100 or 200 gms...(It varies by what time of the day I weight my self :) )

I still dont see my bump coming out...
ya but my pants which were exact fit...are a bit uncomfortable now...so just wearing comfort fit pants...

did you get scanning done? did you the see the baby??

ok then take care..
luv
ramya

hi megs,
i am in my 14th week and feel the bulge in my tummy, and yes my pants too feel tight at the waist. I think for thin people the tummy bulge is quite obvious as compared to not so thin people.
At my work place we cant wear salwar kameezes, only western formals are allowed. So i guess very soon i have to get a whole new wardrobe...:)
